  37.      Viruses, if spread to your machine, can damage your programs and cause them not to work. They may cause problems with saving to disk, or with printing. Often they will cause mysterious crashes. It is difficult to tell simply from the behavior of your machine whether or not you have a virus. At this time there are no Mac viruses that are as nasty as they could be. No current viruses delete or scramble files.
